Lauren and I went to the Valentine's Day Dance on a Saturday night in 2001.
Just like on Prom Night, we had our picture taken before we left, and again as we arrived (twice) at the Senior Citizens Center behind O'Fallon City Hall. Word is that we were seen on the local Public Access Cable Channel, but having a satellite dish (and with our embargo of the cable company) we missed it.
Once there, dancing was the thing to do. Lauren even danced by herself when I wore out. We danced and danced and danced. Then we sat down and had some cookies and punch. Lauren shows off her pretty dress, takes a picture of Dad and then another. After sitting for a while longer, we danced the rest of the night away.
Both Lauren and Dad had a great time that night!
